I'm bored, and updating because my parents are sleeping and I can't watch anything on youtube and cause I have absurdly amazing TYPEINTHEDARK typing skills.
And since I have virtually nothing to update about, let's play a game!
It's called the spot-the-Jimmy-Choo game!
Not Jimmy Choo the designer, but Jimmy Choo the shoe! From the other relatively cheaper counterparts.
click for the picture!I took the picture off my blog cause it's too big.Guessed it yet?
If you chose the green covered-toe heel whatsitcalled on the bottom left, you are a genius, and of course
correct! You're probably the sort of person who could pick a branded handbag blindfolded, or walk through Orhard Road in six-inch heels without looking.
If you chose the one second from top left, the sandal, you are a LOSER! That's a bata superman boy's sandal that comes complete with squeaky air noises and lights with every step.
Byebye!

I'M BACK! WHEEEEEEEEEE!
And the famous Tricia line-
Did you miss me?I can't believe when other people are going to places like Bangkok or Japan, I go to boring ol' KL for the hundredth time. Seriously, I'm starting to get pretty bored. But anyway we went there cause my dad has to settle something about renting the apartment out? Or something like that.
So we stayed (in? at? I don't know) the Ascott, which is not that bad and like 2 minutes walk away from KLCC!
But then again there's not really much you can do in KL, unless you're a shopping fiend (which I just discovered on this trip that I'm not really one) because it's hazy everywhere, no nice weather or picturesque scenery and no prancing around pairies or visiting museums or all the arty things you see in movies.
So, shopping. Well there's always the golden triangle of KL malls- Berjaya Times Square (which is like a Wisma Atria on the bottom floors but a really lian Far East Plaza on the upper floors, the only difference being an indoor amusement park), KLCC (which is seriously absolute love!) and Mid-Valley (not-so-mega) Mega Mall. It's not really a lot different from Orchard in Singapore, with the usual Topshop Mango Esprit, but unfortunately at the time I went THERE WERE NO SALES! It's sort of a hangover from the Malaysia Mega Sale (sept) and the eve of the eve of the christmas sales.
KLCC!Which is seriously such a shame, because in Malaysian sales they really cut everything and make sure the stock gets sold out in one day or something, as compared to Singaporean sales which seriously suck.
And the taxi drivers there are tyrants! Damn them. Half of them there don't use meters, so they charge extorbitant fares on poor unsuspecting tourists (actually I don't count cause I'm a Malaysian, but I got swindled anyway). And the transport system seriously sucks. The LRT or KL monorail system is jammed belly-to-belly with people and you can't even get on during the peak hours.
So I was thinking about designing a new LRT system for them. See, if everyone stands upright the top space of the train is wasted! So if everybody lies on top of each other, the train can accomodate more people! Cool, right?
Or the alternative- build more LRTS.
And then there's the twin towers. It was the tallest building in the world, before the Taipei 101 was built. I think it's the whole competitive spirit between countries- tallest, fattest, biggest, longest, whatever. But I was thinking, if they had chosen not to built two towers but rather pile one tower on top of the other, it would be unbeatable right?

Hey, not many things look nice both night and day ok! Anyway, if you want to go up the twin towers, it's FREE! But not really much of an experience, cause you only get to go up halfway to the connecting sky bridge. The view is fantabulicious, but make sure you go up when it isn't hazy. And QUEUE early! The tickets run out at like 9 plus am.

It's a bird, it's a plane.... no, it's a gross view of KL on an extremely hazy day!And FOOOOODD we found this really good place at KLCC called chilli's, I think it's a grill and bar or something, the food's really good and the price is reasonable too. Only that you have to wait again, cause the place's jam packed with people every fricking night, but it's worth the wait.
Blah, it's not reallyphotogenic cause it's half eaten, and I had to use flash because of the dim lighting of the place. But the best thing of course, is the CABLE TV IN THE HOTEL cause I don't have cable tv at home! So I watched like 20 hours of MTV.
I suck at writing travelogues. And of boring, blah places like KL. I want to go to an exotic place! Like Barcelona. Where is it anyway?
